I have been very sneaky and don’t tell Dad….
So Dad is turning 40 this year, specifically in June. That is a pretty fun milestone and unlike typical for us, I thought it would be fun to celebrate an adult birthday around here! After running thru all the various possibilities, I decided it would be fun to go on a special trip. Just Dad and I, no Big Girl, no Boy and no Little Girl.
So figuratively speaking, I have been to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, New York, the Bahamas and San Diego all courtesy of the internet. These are all the places I have researched in hopes of coming up with a fun, memorable trip.
BUT after going to lunch with a good friend of mine this past Friday who gave me another idea, I think I have narrowed down the trip………
LAS VEGAS
I am planning to go all out, 5 star hotel…shows…sushi…gambling…pool…..
For those who know me well, you know it must be a super duper occasion for me “to go all out” on a vacation…but its for Dad and you only turn 40 once so its Vegas or bust….
and just in case Dad decides that Vegas is not what he was hoping for as he turns 40, I will keep you all posted on where we do end up going!
oh and I was just kidding….you can tell Dad, I told him last night…do you really think I would post a big secret on my blog?
